This policy explains how Fujairah Aviation Academy ("FujAA", "we", "us"), part of Fujairah National Group, collects and uses personal data when you visit fujaa.ae, send us an inquiry, subscribe to our mailing list or apply for a course or exam. We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Our mobile app is covered by its own app privacy policy.

What we collect
- Inquiries and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, the programme you are interested in and your message.
- Mailing list: your name and email address.
- Applications and exam registrations: the details on the application form, such as your name, date and place of birth, nationality, passport and Emirates ID details, contact details, education, medical certificate details where required, and the documents and photo you upload.
- Payments: fees paid online are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of the payment; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Job applications and feedback: the information and files you choose to send us.
- Website usage: pages viewed, time on page, how you reached the site, device and browser type, screen size, language and time zone (see "Cookies and analytics").
Why we use it
- To answer your questions and send the information you ask for.
- To process applications, exam registrations, payments, security clearance and student visas, and to run your training.
- To send news about intakes and events if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and improve its content.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties, including those of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
We rely on your consent, on the steps needed to enter into or perform your training agreement, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the academy and its website.
Cookies and analytics
- Necessary cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in to the student and staff areas and protects our forms against misuse.
- Our own analytics: we count visits on our own server. Your browser keeps a random visitor number (in local storage, not a cookie) so we can tell new and returning visitors apart. We do not store your IP address and we do not share this data.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: help us measure how the website is used. Google may set cookies and process your IP address.
- Facebook (Meta) Pixel: helps us measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may set cookies and link your visit to your Meta account.
- Embedded content: the map on our contact page (Google Maps) and the Instagram posts on our home page load from those services, which receive your IP address and may set their own cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as signing in, need the session cookie to work.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where needed: with Fujairah National Group companies that support our operations, with authorities such as the GCAA, airport security and immigration for licensing, security clearance and visas, with our payment provider, and with service providers that host our website or send our email, under confidentiality terms. We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE; where they do, we take the safeguards the PDPL requires.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for up to two years. Application and student records are kept for as long as your training and our regulatory obligations require. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Website usage data is kept in summary form.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email cservice.fujaa@fng.ae and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office.
Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to applications and student records is limited to authorised staff.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
