General Terms and Conditions at Fujairah Aviation Academy

All courses are offered on dates and at times set at the academy’s discretion, subject to demand and to places available.
An agreed deposit reserves a place on the assigned course and is non-refundable.
Acceptance of a student on a scheduled course does not automatically mean acceptance for later courses of ground or flight training. An agreed deposit must be paid to reserve a place on each course.
If the cost of fuel increases, the academy reserves the right to levy a supplementary charge, pro rata to the hourly consumption, for the anticipated flying hours remaining.
All costs and course fees are correct at the date of the current literature but may change at short notice. The academy reserves the right to withdraw any published course before it starts.
Students must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner at all times, and agree to obey the rules and regulations of Fujairah Aviation Academy, its staff and instructors, and to comply with the Operations Manual and the Flying Order Book as updated from time to time, which form part of these conditions.
Any student found cheating in examinations will immediately be suspended from the course for one year, and their training records will be reviewed.
Punctuality must be maintained. Any absence, for whatever reason, must be reported, explained and supported by a medical certificate if Fujairah Aviation Academy requests one. The academy is not responsible for completing the course if a student fails to do so, and any studies missed through absence must be made up by the student in their own time, through private study or as directed by the instructional staff.
Students on a course of training must wear the uniform provided at all times.
While the intention is for all students to complete their training within the specified time, this is not guaranteed, and Fujairah Aviation Academy cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
Any training required beyond the minimum hours in each phase, as stated in the Proposal of Costs, is charged at the rates prevailing at the time. Any additional attempts at theoretical knowledge examinations or flight tests are charged at the prevailing rates.
Fujairah Aviation Academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s training for failure to comply with its regulations, failure to reach an adequate standard, or any other reason connected with the student’s performance.
Students must pass all in-house and General Civil Aviation Authority examinations (written and flight) within a maximum of 3 attempts. Failure to do so automatically results in termination.
If any fees remain unpaid after their due date, whether demanded or not, the academy may suspend the student’s training immediately and remove any discounts.
When a student’s training is terminated by the academy or the student, for whatever reason, the balance of all outstanding fees for the whole training course becomes immediately due. The academy may, at its sole discretion, refund part of the fees, up to the costs it has not spent because the student did not complete the course.
Any student absent for 3 months without FujAA’s written acceptance will be removed from the student list, and nothing will be claimable.
