TURBINE ENGINE B1.1, PISTON ENGINE B1.2 & Avionics B2 COMBINED
Fujairah aviation academy Aviation Maintenance Engineering College is approved and recognized by both the UAE General Civil Aviation (GCAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the purposes of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licensing. Fujairah Aviation Academy providing Aircraft Engineering training in the B1.1 Aeroplanes Turbine Engine, B1.2 Aeroplanes Piston Engine, B2 Avionics categories and A categories for Line Mechanic. This combined course gives the chance for the student to get training on three categories: B1.1, B1.2 and B2 which will enable him to get the license for any or all of them once his experience has been done.
A category B1
A category B1 aircraft maintenance licence shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service following maintenance, including aircraft structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems. Replace ment of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability, shall also be included in the privileges. Category B1 shall automatically include the appropriate A subcategory.
A category B2
A category B2 aircraft maintenance licence shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service following maintenance on avionic and electrical systems.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The combined course is scheduled for approximately 30 months divided into Theoretical Lectures and Practical Training as per UAE General Civil Aviation (GCAA-CAR147) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA- PART147) preceded by Technical English Language as a prerequisite.
The course is scheduled as per the following phases:
Phase 1: It is divided into Theoretical Lectures and Practical Sessions (2694hrs) covering the following modules:

Phase 2: ON Job Training:
This phase On Job Training consists of 400hrs training and will be conducted in Fujairah Aviation Academy Maintenance organization and in any external approved maintenance organization.
At the end of the course the student will be granted two certificates of recognition approved by (GCAA) UAE General Civil Aviation Authority and (EASA) European Aviation Safety Agency.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING COURSE ENROLLMENT
1.Applicants must be at least 17 years of age.
2.Applicants must must present certificate in IELTS with minimum score of 4.5 or TOEFL with minimum score of 60% otherwise he has to pass Fujairah Aviation Academy Basic English Exam with minimum score of 50%.
3.Applicant must pass Basic Mathematics and Physics examination at Fujairah Aviation Academy exam center with a minimum score of 50% in each subject.
FEES OF MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING COURSE
160,000 +UAE VAT (AED One Hundred Sixty Thousand Only + UAE VAT)
PAYMENT SCHEDULE OF MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING
1.First installment of AED 8,000 +UAE VAT payable prior to course start date.
2.Second installment of AED 8,000+ UAE VAT will be paid on second month of the course.
3.The remaining amount (AED 144,000 + UAE VAT will be paid in twenty four equal installments of AED 6,000 +UAE VAT in the succeeding months (24XAED 6,000 +UAE VAT).
