B1 Certifying Staff (Senior Engineer)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Perform scheduled & unscheduled maintenance on the aircrafts, assigned under his scope of authorization.
2. Certify Maintenance Release i.r.o. maintenance performed on the aircraft i.a.w. 145 requirements.
3. Refer AMM/IPC/CMM/AMP/Repair Schemes etc. for completion of maintenance.
4. Follow procedures given in Company MOE/TPM for completion of maintenance.
5. Strictly adhere to safe standard practices & maintenance standards while performing work on the aircraft.
6. Work under DOM & Chief Engineer to ensure aircrafts are always maintained to the highest standards i.a.w. TC holder/OEM/Authority recommendations & mandatory requirements.
7. Carry out assessment of structural damage to ensure damages are classified i.a.w. approved standards & repairs performed according to required standards.
8. Carry out repair/modification on the aircraft i.a.w. approved documents.
9. Perform SB/AD on the aircraft i.a.w. approved documents.
10. Train junior staffs/technicians working under him to ensure maintenance work is performed to the required standards.
11. Carry out the role of Supervisor & Assessor, as authorized, for training & promoting engineers i.a.w. company requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Minimum 10 years maintenance experience & preferably more than 5 years of B1 Certifying Staff experience
2. Must hold current & valid license on Diamond DA 40, DA 42 & DA 42 NG
3. License on Cessna 172R/S will be an added advantage
4. Type Training Course with Diamond Factory Austria will be given preference
5. Good Knowledge of Human Factors & Aviation Legislation
